But I have a doctor’s appointment today to see what’s up. At least I’m getting closer to the goal every day that goes by!

You’ve made such a wonderful home for him…
Also, although when you’re in the moment it doesn’t help, but remember that a due date is just an estimate–and babies, especially first babies, are rarely born on their due date.
Anyhoo: you’ve done such a great job with this pregnancy, Kelly. You should be so proud of yourself!
I’ll be checking back hourly, and feeling increasingly stalker-like.

He’s just so damn comfortable in there! Seriously, go ahead and take off work now and relax for a couple of days. You won’t be able to do that for long!

Are you kidding? I just knew I was going to check your blog today to see a “Off to the hospital” post.
That’s it, serve that eviction notice on the little boy.
He sounds like Dom…a momma’s boy already. He just doesn’t want to leave you.

I was 11 days past my EDD. At the 41-week appt, my doctor joked, “Have you ever seen that Discovery Channel show where that woman was pregnant for something like 50 years?” I said wearily, “Yeah… I’m beginning to feel that way!”
But I forgot what day it was after I looked at my baby boy for the first time.
