Of mockery and modesty
May 4, 2008
When he throws a temper tantrum, there’s no way to reason with him. There’s no way to comfort him. There’s no way to stop the hysterics until it runs its course.
So I just join in the fun.

Yet Aiden is having the last laugh.
“You may mock me, Mother, but I will expose your boob for the world to see. Bwahahaha!”

Haha! Lily has started having something along the lines of temper tantrums too. She was doing the “wailing wall” routine last night - sitting on her knees and bending over to put her face on the couch and then back up crying the whole time!

Damn, girl!! You’ve got quite the rack!! You’re so tiny…how do you not fall over
PS? I’m SO jealous of the rack you’re sporting. Me and my 36NB wanna-be rack(who in the HELL is a NEARLY anything?!) are now going to think of cake, but will be eating sugar free Jell-O.

I think that’s the best way to deal with it - you need to keep sane!
PS - Motherhood agrees with you, for sure.

Oddly, your tantrum faces make you look A LOT alike!

I agree with Laurel - the tantrum faces really do make you look alike!
I love getting on the floor and fussing with Eden. Fortunately, experts have recently said it’s the best way to handle baby temper tantrums - it’s not just good fun!
