Thin Thursday- Week 2

I was a wee bit nervous about this week’s weigh-in.  Sure, I’ve been following WW and sticking to my diet.  I worked out nearly every day this week.  But I know that I don’t have a lot of weight to lose, so the pounds may come off slowly.

Last night, I said to Jason: “I have a feeling I won’t lose anything this week. And if that happens, I’ll feel like a failure.”

You see, I really want to post a weight loss here every Thursday.  I may not “know” you guys personally, but in some odd way I want you to be proud of me.  I don’t want someone to come here and read that I haven’t lost anything and feel disappointed in my efforts to actually DO THIS!

Fortunately, I needn’t have worried.  Here’s my stats for Week Two:

Starting weight:  146

Last week’s weight: 142.5

Current weight:  140.5

Weight loss this week:  2.0 pounds

Total pounds lost: 5.5

Yay!  Whew!  I can relax now… well, not too much.  I’m giving myself the day off from working out as a reward, and jumping right back into it tomorrow.  I can’t wait for next week, because I would love to see myself back in the 130’s again! 

I’m loving my group of WW buddies that Janet set up.  We are holding each other accountable and it is so nice to know that other people are going through the same things to try and get healthier and “thinny.”

    Wow, that is awesome, congrats! I wish my stats were as good as yours this week, but unfortunately, I didn’t do so well! I started Weight Watchers online yesterday though, so I am hoping to see as much progress as you have by next week!

    Starting Weight: 146 lb
    Last week: 144 lb
    This week: 143 lb
    Weight loss this week: 1 lb
    Total weight loss: 3 lb

    I clocked in a three-pound weight loss this morning. I’m so happy I could poop rainbows.

    Congratulations on your loss! (This is the only instance in which a statement like that is appropriate!)

    Yay!! I lost a pound this week, too. We all know there will be ups and downs, but by June we will all be hot. I mean, HOTT.
