Have you read "She's Come Undone" by Wally Lamb? I suggest it if you haven't yet. I loved it. It is interesting and goes through a million different emotions.

I second the recommendation for “Water for Elephans” by Sara Gruen. This book is a page turner and really really good. I think you'll like it.

Great book list! Have you read "A Thousand Splendid Suns" by Khaled Hosseini? It is also a great book. "Water for Elephans" by Sara Gruen is also a good book, and, "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" by Betty Smith is one of the best books I have read this year!

Can I offer a suggestion? Add "The Bronze Horseman" by Paullina Simons to your list. The first 50 pages are slow, but after that its so worth it. :)

You should read "The Shadow of the Wind" by Carlos Ruiz Zafon and "The Historian" by Elizabeth Kostova. They are both modern novels, but quite old fashioned in their script etc. Both great reads - I enjoyed them - I will be trying a few from your list. I'm a bookworm too :-)
